Welcome Aykut Burgaz!

Why did you choose Cubis?

Since the first day we met, we’ve had strong communication, which played the most important role in my decision to choose Cubis. I selected Cubis because it is a dynamic and growing company that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and has a large customer base across different sectors. Additionally, the company’s involvement in new technologies and its innovative projects also played a key role in my decision. I hope to contribute by sharing my experiences and adding value.

What did you do before Cubis?

I started my career as an SAP BW consultant in Istanbul, and over the course of my 14-year consulting experience, I’ve been involved in a wide range of SAP BW / BI projects across various industries. In my previous consulting company, in addition to technical consulting, I took on responsibilities such as team leadership and group management. Most recently, I worked as an in-house consultant for a company in Belgium for about a year, where I contributed to internal projects and had the opportunity to further develop my expertise.

If you could switch lives with someone for one day, who would it be and why?

If I could switch lives with someone for a day, I’d choose to be the head coach of Galatasaray as a lifelong Galatasaray fan. I’ve attended nearly every game over the past 15 years in the stadium, and even after moving to Belgium, I keep renewing my season ticket every year. The idea of standing on the sidelines, making real-time decisions, and feeling the intensity of a packed stadium would be amazing. I’d love to experience the strategy and teamwork that goes into leading the team I admire so much.
